Writer

Kevin Parson

Kevin is a seasoned summer worker on Mackinac Island and a graduate of GVSU. He worked as a production designer during the period when Michigan was offering incentives for filmmakers. Kevin has always been enthusiastic about the historical impact of Michigan and the Great Lakes in America and abroad. Although he was born in Denver, his father, Tim Parson, maintained family ties from Saginaw to Harbor Springs, and Kevin was raised with a deep appreciation for Michigan's rich traditions. Kevin's passion for theatre began when he heard fantastical tales around the bonfires during summers, celebrating the vibrant Northern culture. After years of development, his passion for theatre ignited the narrative that he had been dreaming of.
